Hello Music Together by the Bay Families and Friends,

Thank you for your patience during these long weeks of silence. Right after we sent our last email, Music Together rallied their resources announced the creation of the brand-new Music Together Online program. This is a drastic but exciting change from their former stance toward online classes, but they are quickly adapting to the new reality we're living in. This new program goes beyond the relaxing of rules that we previously reported, and we're hoping that some of these additions will remain an optional part of the Music Together curriculum once we return to regular in-person classes. It's taken us a few weeks to digest and explore the new guidelines and what this means for our center, and we appreciate your patience while we've been figuring out how best to roll out this exciting new program.

We're excited to announce our new virtual program Music Together Online!

We're working hard to finalize all of the details and hope to open enrollment for a Spring session with Music Together by the Bay soon! You can help us to plan the best program possible for our families by taking a few minutes to complete this short FAMILY SURVEY . We've also posted some steps (in the sidebar article to the right, or at the end of the newsletter if you're on a mobile device) you can take today to help you get prepared for our new online classes.

This Spring we'll be exploring the MARACAS collection 

This is one of our favorite collections! We know we say that about every collection, but this is really one of the best collections with so many of our favorite songs. Our alumni families may remember this collection well, featuring William Tell's Ride, Jumpin' Josie, and the very-appropriate-for-online classes All Around the Kitchen, which gets us rocking out on instruments we find around the house! We can't wait to share them with you in our new digital format until we can meet in-person again.

Live Streaming Test Group

All of the families who were enrolled in our Winter 2020 session will be automatically invited to participate in a test session of our live-streaming classes. Watch your inbox for your invitation! We're hoping to host at least one or two pilot classs sometime next week (April 13-17) and then open enrollment and start classes the following week! 

If you want to join in the test group but weren't registered during Winter session, please send us an email. Winter families get first choice, then we'll fill with additional experienced families for this limited test class.

Music Together by the Bay is turning 15!

This summer session marked the start of our center's 15th year. We have plans for a big celebration this summer, but ill have to wait and see what happens with the COVID-19 shutdown. Keep in touch with us through email, or follow us on Facebook or Instragram for news and announcements.
