Hello Music Together by the Bay Families and Friends,

Our online demo class on Wednesday was a success! We are going to move forward with online classes on Zoom for our spring semester. Yay!! We will open registration for all families this Sunday, April 19th. Classes will start next week, on April 21st, so register early to get in to your first choice!

Here's the scoop:

Music Together Online Spring Semester - MARACAS
with Music Together by the Bay
Tuition is $110 per family, and includes:

9 weeks of original class content feeaturing 25 songs in the MARACAS collection.
Two live-streaming opportunities per week through ZOOM, which will be recorded and posted to the secure access section of the Family Portal on our website after class for families to access any time. The recordings will be hosted on YouTube, so will be easily accessible from many devices!
Digital access code for the MARACAS collection, accessible through the Hello Everybody mobile app or the Family Music Zone at musictogether.com
Access to activities, printable coloring pages, crafts, and special events through the Family Portal
Musical family fun and education based on over 30 years of research in early childhood musical development featuring a mix of musical genres from around the world. The range of tonalities and rhythym patterns in each collection provides a rich environment for learning through play and positive adult role modeling, two of the core philosophies of the Music Together program.
Exclusive online content is available through the Family Portal for up to 10 days before and 30 days after the semester for all paid registrations.
For this Spring session only, in recognition of the challenging times we are facing, there will be no additional sibling fees, no new family regisration fees, and no credit card payment processing fees.

Class Options:
April 21 - June 18, 2020 Tuesday & Thursday, 10:00 - 10:20 am - Family Music Online with Teacher Samara
April 22 - June 19, 2020 Wednesday & Friday, 10:00 - 10:20 am - Family Music Online with Teacher Samara
Classes are limited to 8 enrolled families to limit streaming complications and to maintain a personal, small-group feeling among families.
We will open additional class sections as needed to accomodate all interested families. Please tell a friend!

IMPORTANT NOTES:

We want to make our program accessible to as many families as possible while still being able to pay our wonderful teacher Samara and regular business expenses.
As mentioned in a previous newsletter, a digital access code for the MARACAS collection is available to all families upon request, free of charge.
If you are fortunate enough to be financially stable during this time, please consider MAKING A GIFT to help this program to remain accessible for families who are struggling.
If you cannot afford tuition, please contact us directly at [email protected]. Because we have such a generous group of families, we are generally able to offer limited scholarships, and we are always open to setting up payment plans.

This Spring we'll be exploring the MARACAS collection

This is one of our favorite collections! We know we say that about every collection, but this is really one of the best collections with so many of our favorite songs. Our alumni families may remember this collection well, featuring William Tell's Ride, Jumpin' Josie, and the very-appropriate-for-online classes All Around the Kitchen, which gets us rocking out on instruments we find around the house! We can't wait to share them with you in our new digital format until we can meet in-person again.

Music Together by the Bay is turning 15!

This summer session marked the start of our center's 15th year. We have plans for a big celebration this summer, but will have to wait and see what happens with the COVID-19 shutdown. Keep in touch with us through email, or follow us on Facebook or Instragram for news and announcements.

Here are a few things you can do now to get ready for our new virtual music classes:

Check out the new FAMILY PORTAL on our website. Log in to your account to access exclusive content! Currently enrolled families will see even more content while they are actively enrolled - videos, coloring pages, craft activities, and more.

Collect instruments and prepare an area to watch and play during our live-stream classes.
